My Thoughts about Robert Frost’s Poem, “Nothing Gold Can Stay”

Some scholars say that the poem, “Nothing Gold Can Stay,” by Robert Frost has a positive message in it (CX). I agree with that statement because Frost shows that good things don’t last (CX). But that doesn’t mean that life will be horrible after that (CX). Even after some good things end, new ones will come (CX).

In “Nothing Gold Can Stay,” by Robert Frost he refers to nature being like life, that things will change all the time and that things won’t ever stay the same forever, but it still displays a positive message (CD-CX). The way it still displays a positive is that Frost shows that even though good things won’t last, life can still be beautiful (CX).

Some people can disagree that “Nothing Gold Can Stay,” is kind of a Debbie downer, but in my personal opinion, I believe that it shows a positive message, because life isn’t just about getting by, its about living it to the fullest and knowing that bad and good things will come and go (CD-CX). But you have to make the best of it (IC).

Quality: 4/5 (you have three clauses joined together in a string, but only one comma: In “Nothing Gold Can Stay,” by Robert Frost he refers to nature being like life, that things will change all the time and that things won’t ever stay the same forever, but it still displays a positive message (CD-CX). BTW: don’t create compound sentences with more than two independent clauses in my class)
