My Thoughts about William Ernest Henley’s Poem, “Invictus”

Can a poem be used to inspire someone?“Invictus” by William Ernest Henley, was written after he got his leg amputated because of tuberculosis of the bone. This poem can be used to inspire someone’s future and or present day.  Invictus is very inspiring.

This poem can be very inspirational to someone. William Henley wrote this after his amputation that he knew he could die . As a 12 year old, I could imagine how it could be feel to know he could die any day. This poem inspires people that no matter what you  have to stay strong and you will be able to accomplish anything you set your mind to.

Someone’s future and or present day could be inspires by this poem. Invictus inspires people if you stay strong you can accomplish anything you put your mind to. Do you think this poem would inspire you?
