How To: Insert an Image into a Post

Images are an important tool for bloggers. In many cases images can be as important as the words on the page. Follow the simple directions below to learn how to upload and insert images to AISBlogPals.com.

Instructions

Before we upload our image, we want to ensure that it is the correct file type and size:

  1. Make sure your image is a JPG, PNG, or GIF (JPGs are best for most images)
  2. Make sure your image is less than 256M (this is a huge file – it’s very doubtful that your image will be larger than 256M)

If your image meets the above rules, you’re ready to insert it:

  1. Create or access your post
  2. Write or paste your text into the post
  3. After your text is written, use your mouse to place the cursor where you want the image to be inserted
