My Procedure: How to Wash Your Dog

Yayy all done

Usually in the summer I enjoy washing my dog Naye-Naye. It’s so fun and exciting, and I know she enjoys it as well. Washing your dog is a great style of exercising  for you and your dog. When your dog is a fresh and clean, and smells all good, it makes you feel good as well. Plus it makes you dog very happy on the inside and the out.

When my dog needs to be bathed her self esteem goes down. She’s quiet and looks sad all the time, but after I give her bath or she goes and gets her oil treatment, she’s all happy and cheerful. This is why we always keep her groomed and well cared.

Note: Don’t get to close to your dog’s skin while cutting, they will be badly injured.

Rinse off your Dog

Rinse all of the dead fur, and shampoo off your dog.

Note: Dogs are like humans if you leave shampoo in your hair your scalp will itch, same thing with dogs. This is why you must rinse them off throughly.

Blow Dry (Optional)

Once I take my dog out I get my blow dryer and blow dry her fur so she won’t get sick.

Note: If you decide to use a blow dryer make sure that the temperature isn’t too hot or cold. It MUST be warm so you won’t scold your dog with the heat or get them sick if its too cold.

Spray Doggy Perfume/ Getting her Dressed (Optional)

My dog has a special perfume for dogs and after I bathe her I spray it on her so she can smell really nice. After that, we like to dress up our dog. So we put back on her collar, any bows we want, and any clothes for the day. (Depending on the weather)
